Here is the combined Alexa/Quantcast traffic ranking data for Seattle media websites (and neighblogs) as of October 16, 2008. I've added some informative sass below some of the entries, but the bottom line is this - the future of media is on the web, as demonstrated by the traffic success of web-only media newbie crosscut.com - which is already more popular than dozens of more established outlets, despite being produced by old bitter hippies.

Seattle's number one ranked media website is the combined realm of the daily dinosaur duo Seattle Times/Seattle P-I.

The P-I tries to butter up a sick pig with this cheery article: P-I, Times keeping staffs slim, belts tight.
